Her career began 20 years ago in the telecommunications industry, with the market leaders Ericsson and TIM, gaining a strong experience in managing complex, high-visibility ICT projects, with a strong impact on customers and with high risk with respect to economic factors.
From November 2001 until April 2017, she worked for the National Institute of Statistics (Istat) at the ICT Directorate. The coordination of operational units, the attention paid to the governance, risk management and ICT audit issues, the responsibility of specific innovation projects, enabled her to play a key role with respect to the most important Istat processes and to contribute to their innovation through the appropriate use of technological components.
Currently, she works for the City Department of Digital Innovation at Roma Capitale and she is in charge for the Free and Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) change management and for designing data centric public policy. She is member of the European Working Group Urban Agenda – Digital Transition Partnership. She teaches at La Sapienza and Link Campus Universities in Rome and at European Institute for Design in Rome.
Her technical and management experience, gives her a holistic vision of the ICT issues. She has strong ability to manage groups. She is flexible, results-oriented and has excellent abilities to motivate staff, to negotiate and to lead ambiguous situations. She is accustomed to work in critical situations, to identify priority activities in the absence of time, to allocate the appropriate resources to carry out a job, to think from the risk perspective and to respect the agreed deadlines.
She was born in Rome in 1972. She has a degree in Mathematics, a Master’s degree in “Governance and Audit of Information Systems” and a Master’s degree in “Behavioural Science”. She is certified ISO:27001, CGEIT (Certification in Governance Enterprise IT), ISIPM base (Project management). She speaks English, French and Dutch.
